More details on the Texas shooter Mauricio Garcia.
There should not be a paywall on this:

My description should tell you lot about his radicalization process. It's weird the Times didn't address it.
@jjmacnab I need a word that means “simultaneously sickened and angry and horrified and sad.”
@Satchelpooch @jjmacnab
The word weltschmerz might cover most of that, at least it does for me.
@jjmacnab and coming soon to Twitter! 🤦🏼♂️🤬🤮
@jjmacnab Again, those of us who are Latin know well the racism embedded in our culture. You don't see too many "Indios" on Mexican telenovelas.
@jjmacnab "We still don't know the shooter's motivations."
Another sociopath heard from.
@jjmacnab His intentions were there for all to see on his body and online. Hard to keep up when there are likely thousands of such individuals. I guess the trick is to figure out which one is an impending mass shooter.
@jjmacnab he also references multiple comments from others saying he seemed like the type to “go postal”. His radicalization didn’t happen in a vacuum and this blog is a fascinating look at the complexities of race, especially whiteness, and racial relations in the US.
This is surprisingly sophisticated for a neo-Nazi and steeped in transgressive art theory and media studies. He name-checks the idea of "spectacle" and Valerie Solanas who wrote the SCUM manifesto which believed in destroying government, the money system and eliminating all men as biological aberrations and shot Andy Warhol as an act of social protest (he survived).
What a weak, pathetic, pompous, insecure, self-congratulatory, desperate for approval, cult fanatic coward.
@jjmacnab Weird. Like out of character or from a broader perspective?
His "analysis" of the recent Nashville elementary school shooting provides a bunch of clues - the slang, the themes, the misogyny, the focus on post death fame, all of it is there. You could just as easily be seeing this on 4chan, discord, or twitch.
