There's a shooter name floating around Twitter, but I'll wait for confirmation before posting it.
The shooter was a children's / travel / corporate illustrator. No word on motive yet, but she attended the school several years ago. (She was 28 and it's a K-6 school.)
She has a couple aliases, a mix of male and female, so I have no idea whether the trans claims being tossed around the RW pundit world are accurate.
Unless it's relevant to motive, I don't really care.

According to police, the school was the shooter's second choice of targets. The primary target was seen as too secure.
@jjmacnab Interesting. After all the hub-bub about the shooter being trans, I did not expect FTM.

@jjmacnab yeah…. This one is going to be bad and I am trying not to be all tinfoil hat but the fact that MTG came out with the trans bashing an hour before it started to be publicly known is…. Concerning. In reality it’s probably just MTG going into default attack mode but it does make me wonder if someone conveniently gave her a heads up (if it is true the shooter was trans which we still don’t officially know)
@jjmacnab: We're going to see this on every true crime news and infotainment show starting tonight, and the platforms and networks are certainly already fighting for the rights to the story.
