@Pat_Walrond crap! I didn't notice it autocorrected to Spearman, it should be Speakman!
@Pat_Walrond look him up
@DavidSalo yeah I hear voices even from the left basically saying this is humanity and that he's now normal for a large chunk of people. There's no easy way back...
@Pat_Walrond when you land on Jeff Spearman, you'll know you've gone too far...
@artemis @ForrestBukowski @th3j35t3r we can go low but we need a plan to get back up high afterwards. That's the sticky part.
@lisaannlm you're not old! The weirdo part remains to be seen!🤣😉
@mhsheikh @th3j35t3r mom and dad bought us a TRS-80 COCO in 1980, I learned to program and never looked back...except now. The microcomputer and Internet revolutions held so much promise. Now, for the first time in my life, I'm thinking it has broken society. Not us as a species, we've always been broken in some ways. But social media in particular has brought out the worst in us. We have figured the ratio all wrong.
Thanks mom! And I'm glad you're not alive to see all this...😢
@th3j35t3r @Minholkin beautiful person, inside and out.😢
@th3j35t3r can you stream all the awesome YouTube music that people post in #CosoMusic or is that against the TOS? I was thinking of something like the news channels you have on web but music instead. #CoSoMTV!
@th3j35t3r I heard this when I was 6. My parents were European and my mother was a French teacher... scandalous!
@ForrestBukowski @artemis @th3j35t3r for some reason (many actually) Dems still think that people mostly act rationally and in their own interests. They're still using a playbook from a different era as well.
@th3j35t3r question: if I have Gmail messages forwarded to proton and then deleted, does Gmail keep a record of the TXN or any content?
@th3j35t3r I've been using Windscribe exclusively with ControlD and Vivaldi's mail client accessing Fastmail IMAP.
@th3j35t3r is that even a thing?
@thereg001 @th3j35t3r yes it's all about shading and guiding the eye to convergence points based on that.
@JGSchaeffer @SaltyVeruca @th3j35t3r there are so many unknowns. The oligarchs don't want Trump in there for long, he's too unpredictable even if he's being "managed". But the path you're suggesting is untenable, even with a MAGA Congress. Much easier to own his cabinet and use the 25A. Nice and neat and Constitutional.
@SaltyVeruca @JGSchaeffer @th3j35t3r they're not "dry"...
@th3j35t3r had to have been part of a multi-prong attack in different vectors. I'm hearing from reputable people that ~11M votes are still coming in and that Trump nudged the needles a little bit in the swing states. Not too much. Sounds perfectly designed not to raise suspicion.
@th3j35t3r let's workshop the possible "fix". We haven't seen enough numbers to understand what they *could've* done. My first thought was that they had 4 years to prep us not to complain that the election was stolen, for fear of becoming assholes like them, even as they continually pushed the theory and telegraphed their plan. What were the vectors of attack? What about DeJoy managing to "black hole" mail in ballots in swing states? Easily checked against state records of how many were sent out
@Idrake @th3j35t3r unfortunately this is a misconception. SCOTUS still gets to ultimately determine if it's an official act and the majority are Trumpistas.
All good things... let's show the cynical and the hateful how the digital world is supposed to work.
