We have DirecTV + streaming service. Disney and DirecTV are having a fight over money... Sunday night ESPN and ABC tv's local channel went dark with no indication of if or when they might return.
It appears that Disney wants everyone on Hulu so they won't share....
Corporate greed and monopolies at work. Consolidation eliminates competition...
@TomB There have been periodic stand-offs between satellite, cable and streaming providers going on for 15+ years.
They always get resolved after 2-3 days when the real customers start spitting razorblades, and the bottom-line impact becomes obvious.

At some point, executives enter a bubble defined by (a) their work incentives, which usually do not include customer satisfaction (b) their friends and colleagues in their social network.
Once inside that bubble, their decisions may bear little to no relationship to smart, or customer-aware.
