@CryptoKat Thank you! Dandelions are a lot of fun to photograph. And the different stages are incredible to explore.

@Eggs I don't think I have either! It's impressive for sure!

@Kurtroedeger Ferns of all kinds are fun to photograph. They look so fragile.

@stueytheround I was so honored to be asked to be a part of it. My friend was a big part of the community and his passing hit everyone hard.

@IanWolfe It made me feel good. Both an honor that my name was put forward and also that the man who put it forward was and excellent photographer himself.

@IanWolfe I hope so! I was surprised and honored to be asked. I was also surprised I will get a small paycheck too! The guy who put my name in was well known around town and the senior center is putting together a memorial wall in his honor I was asked if I would help with that as well. I was very honored to know he thought that much of my photography.

I had an interesting day. I stopped in at the local senior center to renew my membership. When the pandemic hit last year I stopped going but in 10 days I get my second vaccine. While I was renewing the center's manager asked me to step into his office. He offered me the chance to teach a photography class there. Seems it was being discussed last fall. The man who recommended me was the local town photographer. He was a friend of mine. He passed away from Covid last December. I said yes.

@redenigma That is really cool. I'm always on the look out for spiders. They make interesting subjects. Basilica Orbweaver

@redenigma That is awesome! Owls are always exciting to see. Some mornings I start my walk before the sun rises. One morning as I entered the park just as the sun was rising the local crows went crazy. They led me to a Great Horned Owl. The first I had seen in that park.

@redenigma I usually snap the picture I try to identify it when I get home. I usually snap over 500 images a hike. Everything I see. Birds, flowers, bugs, frogs anything that catches my eye. I then spend hours pouring over guides trying to figure out what I saw and how to remember it!
