i'm reading an excellent text on
the Dark Goddess,
written by 2 women, Jungian analysts, and 🇨🇦 too‼️
"the words positive and negative do not ultimately apply. They become judgmental words.
the Goddess who gives life is the Goddess who takes life away.
no sentimentality.
In feminine thinking, we hold the paradox beyond the contradictions.
She is the flux of life in which creation gives place to destruction,
destruction in service to life gives place to creation."

i read this book back when it came out, 1996,
and came across it on my bookshelf while looking 👀 for the source of the artwork that inspired my embroidery of the dakini many years ago.
if that's not synchronicity👀
the meaning has returned with energies unexpected ✌🏾
