@Alfred You throw a snowball at a temperature of 31 degrees Fahrenheit at a brick wall. The snowball weighs 30 grams and the velocity is 10 feet a second. How much of the snowball melts.

@Alfred You are the bus driver and start with 20 children. At the first stop two children get off. At the second stop four children get off. What color are the bus driver’s eyes?

@Alfred If I have twenty tomato’s, go to the store and purchase three tomato’s and two cucumbers. Fix ratatouille using all the tomato’s, how many cucumbers do I have?

Alfred got a SIMPLE math problem right but when I added the word pigs… well, things got weird:

@Alfred What’s two pigs plus two pigs minus three pigs.

This actually is to be expected as they are word glomming programs and not really math tools (never mind they run on computers).

AND you can really fuck up the results of you toss in common phrases (like “two and two equals four”—two plus two plus one or variants).

It’s fun.

You know what AI’s get wrong? Math problems:

“ Oliver picks 44 kiwis on Friday. Then he picks 58 kiwis on Saturday. On Sunday, he picks double the number of kiwis he did on Friday, but five of them were a bit smaller than average. How many kiwis does Oliver have”

“The AI bots, they found, consistently got it wrong.”

Not a surprise. I tested Alfred, Bard and one other (which I conviently forgotten) and all stumble when it comes to word problems.

Damn that First Amendment… it’s like people can say anything they want?!?!

“The unauthorized 43-foot nude statue of Donald Trump in a Philadelphia park has been condemned by the city's Republican Party leader, who has filed an obscenity report with the police.”

Quick, break out the emergency fainting couches (but not too close to JD Vance).

Note: If you are running for office, make sure ads feature YOUR state.

“ The incumbent Republican senator, who’s facing a tough race this November, recently put out a campaign ad that described Nebraska as a “great place to raise families,” while showing beautiful, sprawling footage of anywhere but Nebraska… The New Republic’s Paige Oamek found one of the clips in the ad comes from a small town in Pennsylvania.”

Oops!

“CNN obtained video from a private donor call in which Hogan, a former two-term governor of Maryland, responded to a question from one donor about how, publicly, it appears that the Senate candidate and Trump “hate each other.” Hogan interrupted the donor and seemed to happily tout the former president’s endorsement. ‘Donald Trump actually endorsed me,’ Hogan said. “Donald Trump actually endorsed me.’”

You mean Republican politicians are LYING?!?

I know no surprise.

I admit I didn’t see that coming!

What is wrong with this guy’s brain?

“I knew the joke would also hurt the feelings of my many Puerto Rican friends.”

“‘We do not share in the values represented by those participants, and we understand how it may have hurt or offended members of our community,’ the fire department said in a statement posted to Facebook.”

You didn’t have eyes when they were putting this together? It’s not like they “beamed in”—this is the “I’m sorry you were offended” apology.
