My uncle died of Sars2 in his bed last night. He had been in bed for 4 days and tested positive for covid. He was 79. We didn't get to say goodbye. It was sudden. He was vigorous and fine when my father talked to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago. He was a loyal and good man, had a heart of gold, and always treated me like I was his daughter instead of a niece. 😭

Routine Doctor appointment.
Nothing major wrong, just a bunch of little routine age related failures. I am amazed that with all I put my body through over the years, that all the vital systems are still functioning quite well.

I will also stop by the used bookstore, pickup my orders, and make the rounds of the "Little Libraries" in town dropping off what I can.

@duglop awwwww!! Boogie shoes indeed! I love that she's just getting around like those shoes have always been with her. It's so sweet to see dogs like her have a happy ending after a sad beginning. And to think, a dog in her predicament would've likely been put down when she was otherwise fine... I'm just so happy for her 🤗
