Well this didn't make me happy, I've been watching my paystubs closely for the last month or so, But for the last two months it's been 40-hour weeks, my gross income has stayed exactly the same but my taxes have gone up each and every week... I don't get it because nothing else has changed except my weekly withholding taxes
Yeah it definitely doesn't make sense, at first I thought it might be something to do with incentives and the small bonuses we earn along the way under certain work conditions, but it still doesn't make any sense so yeah I'll be paying HR and accounting a visit tomorrow
So I just spoke to my supervisor about it He said he noticed it as well. He also thinks that my incentives didn't kick in so he's going to take care of it this week and add some extra hours to my check to make up for it .That's my kind of supervisor
@duglop How odd. Only thing I can imagine is that they screwed up tax withholdings and are slowly making it up?

@finkled @duglop Dang. There used to be a way to check that your employer was actually paying in on your behalf and check the amounts matched. They sent a letter. But this was pre internet. I bet there is still a way to do this online.

Hate to think someone is skimming and embezzling but it happens more than you would think.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @finkled no it's not a matter of that it's a matter of we have certain incentives that we get when we do certain things or if we're exposed to the cold in coolers for 2+ hours at a time but they didn't kick in the last few weeks for some of us for some reason, for those of us that do certain things in certain departments and make a little more than some of the others... Our supervisor was the one that actually caught it I just happened to notice it and figure it out

I could see a difference if I was working overtime one week but not the next but I haven't been working overtime lately... I haven't wanted to haven't needed to...
