@Jennifelroy thank you. it's been a really exhausting day. he said tonight it doesn't even hurt and all he's had is a splint and Motrin, so hoping this was the absolute worst of it.

@Minholkin that's the weird part -- it's not swollen at all and there's no discoloration. i have the x-ray and it's clearly fractured.

unfortunately by the time they got everything situated and whatnot the orthopedics were out the door so he got a splint. tried calling for a Monday appointment but everyone was closed, so I went to voicemail and just hope they can get us in first thing Monday.

@Jennifelroy thanks. yeah, he's OK. has a spiral fracture on his tibia. easily the most painful thing he's ever had to go through. once I got him to the hospital things got better but it was a traumatic several hours for him prior. to getting the splint.

@Minholkin thank you. He had about 2.5 hours of trauma and is exhausted. the splint and Motrin have been enough to at least make things tolerable until we can get in Monday for a cast.

Took my son skiing the last 2 days. My #1 concern was an injury. Sure enough, 1 hour into skiing today broke his leg. Talk about a long, draining day.

@quickfics It's not bad. Has some pauses but overall is an entertaining show imo.

Additionally, that these kids are actual students is a joke. They need to pass 6 credit hours in their first semester to be able to play their season. So, enroll in 12 credit hours, pass six.

Next semester they can sign up for the required 12 credits, not attend class, and basketball is over before the first marking period and then be ineligible.

The problem? Their season is already over by the time these grades come out.

On the Will Cain Show, Will stated that he disagreed with Stan Van Gundy's assessment that the "One and done" rule is racist.

Every "One and done" player who's come out of US high school and put in the 1 year in college has been black. It might not fit the classic definition of racism but it certainly does only affect one race of people...

@cephalopie @jasonwezzell I've been open and transparent everywhere else in social and it hasn't come back to bite me (yet), so I figured why not keep the streak alive

@jasonwezzell I didn't realize we were supposed to keep it anonymous 😂 😅

@moot0ne the video, unbeknownst to us, was all CGI. then we had tech bros asking for refunds because they couldn't afford rent after they waved their tiny dicks around SF by saying they pre-ordered one. It was a colossal clusterfuck to the point that the CEO dis-networked from me on LinkedIn and then asked to re-invite me once he went under. This and why they were sued by SF is why a 22 year old shouldn't get $20MM in one month. No fucking clue how to actually make a product.

@moot0ne Given how the SF startup scene has crashed thanks to the massive pull in VC funding for software with adoption and completely dissing hardware it'll be interesting to see how the SIlicon storyline adapts.

@moot0ne Also, we launched Lily, the flying drone camera. Apparently they pissed away money on transforming a SF warehouse into an ice hockey rink. So there's a lot more to the SF startup scene than what is dealt with here, but the jackholes who think they know better is a consistent storyline.

@moot0ne I don't know that every startup is that bad. They don't tell the stories of the rest of the crew on Silicon Valley IMO enough. They sacrifice greatly for the vision of the CEO.

@moot0ne Did the new season premiere tonight? Having worked with some of the biggest startup success stories to date it was like watching our clients behind the scenes in SF. Thoroughly enjoyable and of course funny, because work is supposed to be fun!

I sincerely hope this platform takes off and we get back to what social used to be. I was one of the first people to rep companies on message boards back in the day and it was about word of mouth and honesty. I wrote the rules for how WOMMA members should behave ethically. I've been involved in some massive ethical movements and since leaving the big agency world have watched it plummet into corrupt behavior.

It's time for change.

Side note, my wife and I fired everyone in our agency and are doing all of the work ourselves.

A pharma client (yes, I know), asked for some dev site pages to be moved over. In the past this was outsourced. It literally took me 2 minutes to move the files over. Between my business and being a coach, there's a trend here in getting more hands on, more local and way more involved instead of arguing with bots etc on FB, Twitter, etc.
