@Dbot

The good old "bomb those assholes" strategy.

Trouble is, we'll run out of bombs before we run out of assholes.

And yes, I have a better idea. Less expensive, humane, and never going to happen.

Biden should announce that the "supreme" court will be increased by 3 new justices. He'll pick one now, and the next president can add two more.

Again, note that an even number of justices is desirable. A tie result would be the same as not hearing the case, so ties would be abhorrent to the court, thus avoided by increased debate and subtle distinctions in opinions.

150 years ago the age of consent was 10 years old, except for Delaware, where it was 7 years old.

Things change, progress happens. Conservatives always resist change, and frequently wish for "the good old days".

@AskTheDevil @tirebiter73

The dems have always relied on too many "expert consultants". Expensive consultants. They fucked up in 2000 by trying to slice up the Florida recount and gambling on the corrupt "supreme" court to do the right (correct) thing.

They maneuvered the highly disliked Hillary into the nomination through disgusting chicanery, then sailed to a loss that should have been contested in court.

They're experts at fucking up by the numbers.

The atmosphere is riddled with smoke and dust particles. Makes for beautiful sunsets. One of the few benefits of global climate change.

Nothing is outside the realm of possibility. Since you didn't stop and tell her, you may get a clue in her behavior going forward.

If it was a malfunction, she'll likely discover it, and be embarrassed in following encounters.

If it was intentional, the (ahem) relevatory experiences may escalate.

All options. Not just in the money, excerciseable options. All puts, all calls, all shorts.

Anybody here read/ recommend/ warn me off this book?

Synarchy: The Complete Guide to the Elite Groups that Rule the World in the 21st Century: Second Edition a.co/d/dLiUf2A

It certainly sounds interesting and possibly relevant.

Fobbit is the new term. Someone who is stationed at a Forward Operating Base who stays inside, avoiding combat.

Missed his target 7 times. Hit innocents behind his target. That's why my suggestions for target practice are important: marksmanship under pressure.

This wasn't a sociopath lashing out at society, trying to make a statement: killing anyone who moved. This was an assassination attempt.

Completely different event.

8 shots. Fucker missed completely 7 times, and nicked an ear with one round.

One note about target practice: it's difficult to simulate the effect of live action's adrenaline surge. But it's important to try.

Game hunting can help - when a pheasant flushes is a similar situation. Go/ No-go exercises at ranges (gun, gun, teddy bear) are also useful.

At a lay-down, paper target rifle range, shooting on adjacent lanes, and/ or fireworks closely overhead might be effective.

Just FYI. πŸ˜…

We used Pagemaker, Ventura Publisher (before Corel), but the best was WordPerfect 5. WordPerfect 4 had a writing style analyzer which was responsible for a dramatic improvement in my (and everyone's) writing style. Later version's style analyzers weren't as robust.

Is it possible to either include hashtags in filters, adding appropriate hashtags for commonly filtered subjects (politics, music, etc); or provide a menu button on posts to add those common hashtags?

@XaoslordErie
You mean "Lindsey Ladybug Lapdog", I think.
