Huh. Doesn't look like a transvestite.
The people who want to ban books don't generally read much. They certainly don't read the books they want banned. They rely on "experts" who present excerpts. There's no independent thought or critical thinking.
Their children aren't readers, either. They don't have bookshelves at home, much less libraries. They don't want children to be exposed to different thoughts, science, or anything that sparks imagination and a search for truths.
They want their reality to be the only reality.
Walz went to congress via the anti-Iraq war wave of Democrats in 2006, and worked on the Veterans Affairs committee (and agriculture).
That's how a Command Master Sergeant support his troops: get them out of battle zones, and make sure they're supported when they com home.
Bravo Zulu, Master Sergeant. Thank you for your service.
I can appreciate that, if he knew his unit was going to deploy, he got out to avoid that nightmare.
The Iraq invasion was an unjust action, bungled at every stage, and had no positive effects.
Sure, it's important to support our troops: but the best way to support them is to try to prevent them from being wasted in a fruitless effort.
Walz could certainly do that better as a Congressman than as a Sergeant, don't you think?
Normally I'm a huge fan of surreality.
Wait - let's rephrase that, Normal & Surreal in same sentence? lol
I'm a huge fan of the surreal.
Wait - I'm 6'4" & 27 stone. Let's rephrase again.
I find surreality very entertaining and enjoyable. That said, I'm watching "Artistic Swimming" for the first time, and it's definitely surreal; but I hate it.
The worst part is the fake smiles, I think. It's certainly athletic, at least. I just can't appreciate the "artistry".
Just, wow. smh
Which grave will more people visit, expressly to piss on: Donald Trump's or Jane Fonda's?
A real concern for me is people refusing to get their pets vaccinated for rabies.
Measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough. . . meh. They're pretty bad, sure.
But rabies: that's incurable.

It does feel odd (carefully avoiding 'weird') to have hope that decent, caring, and intelligent candidates, with integrity, are being presented for our approval.
Not "the lesser of two evils", but actual good people.
Please, please, π, let this be real.

Thank you for your service. Enjoy your retirement! (I'm enjoying mine.)

Were you involved with Hillary and what's-his-name in 2016?
Cause that was when everyone thought she had it locked, too.
Let's not celebrate too much, ok?
Trump still has Merrick Garland, the entirety of the congressional Republicans, and the "supreme" court on his side. Not to mention all the red state governors and legislators.
It's not over until the fat lady sings, and we don't even know who the fat lady is yet. [Snerk]
Seriously. Challenge people on their patriotism. Make sure everyone goes to https://vote.gov.
Got it. Whew!

Yes, sorry. Of course individuals are upset & just want peace. However, collectively they want to win. It's "Them vs Us", and US always takes precedence.
Wowzers. Good read. Sounds right.
Nobody's serious about a peaceful solution. It's hate all around - from both "peaceful" religions.
@Bliss
Secret Service releasing something, anything positive to deflect from their abject failures?
To be fair, only so many people can attack one person at a time. So the attackers worked in shifts, and at least 15 of them stabbed a dead body.
I know how to fix it. All of it. Just ask.
