UASF: 5 years
DCANG: 1 year
Active USAF Reserve: 6 years
I quit because it is a grind, you work 12 days in a row every month when you have a Mon-Fri job.
Go to hell if you question that the reserve military is not real service.
@Bix Walz put in for retirement long before the mission was announced, so that smear is unfounded.
I can appreciate that, if he knew his unit was going to deploy, he got out to avoid that nightmare.
The Iraq invasion was an unjust action, bungled at every stage, and had no positive effects.
Sure, it's important to support our troops: but the best way to support them is to try to prevent them from being wasted in a fruitless effort.
Walz could certainly do that better as a Congressman than as a Sergeant, don't you think?
