yeah, he's always gotten away with mouthing off, but now he's being held accountable for his words.

He was never going to win them to his side. This was scheduled for one reason: Take the spotlight.
It's far more important for him to dominate the news cycle than win an intellectual argument. His supporters aren't "the sharpest tools in box."
The racist component is for his base, also.
He's not looking to win votes: he's looking to win the election. His only chance is through legal (and illegal) BS, supported by the corrupt "supreme" court.

Are you with ABC, because I think they’re a fake news network, a terrible network. I think it’s disgraceful that I came here in good spirit.
