@Tarnagh @corlin I admit I never paid much attention, parades bore me and motorcades don’t mean a damn thing to me but it does sound rather strange that having two ambulances in the motorcade would be standard OP.

@corlin @Tarnagh Poppy Bush’s motorcade took a shortcut through our rural area back in the day. An old classmate accidentally followed it while on his sales route. There wasn’t an ambulance with that one.

@guinnessphil I am considering becoming vegetarian, and this would be why. Rump lowered the standards on food safety last time he had power, it’ll be non-existent by the time he’s done destroying the country.

@peterquirk Wow, Illinois manages to hold its own and our water has been fluoridated since I was a kid, that’s at least 60-65 years.

@Zevon Thank you, me too! My biggest fear is having a fire and not being able to rustle the cats into crates fast enough. The chances of it spreading were slim since it wasn’t a big fire and I saw it early enough for them to deal with it quickly. I do feel bad for whomever put all that money into it, hope they have enough insurance on the place.

Had a bit of excitement in the ‘hood. I took Ernie outside and there was a lot of smoke coming out of the house next door. No one lives there right now but someone has been doing a lot of work on it. I guess they installed a new furnace today and that might be what caused the fire. Cats are freaked out from being put in crates in case I needed to get them out of our house and all the flashing lights outside from the trucks. Ernie and I were outside watching until they got it taken care of.

@DavidSalo He showed that contempt last time he slithered into the Oval Office but they vot d for him again. We got the government they deserve. Our kids deserved much better than this.

@ImagineThat @ecksmc And why somehow, someway, we need to inform our voters about issues on the ballot and the people on the ballot so they have the information they need to make informed choices. Yes I know many will do what they think is best but is actually the worst choice, but there is always the possibility they will do what is best for themselves and the country if they have the correct information.

@ecksmc I think that’s universal in governments. I tried watching CSPAN a couple times but had to stop. It only raises my blood pressure to hear the dumb ass bullshit they were speaking. These were supposed to be the cream of the crop, the brightest and best our country had to offer yet I watched as a “representative” Drew illustrations to “prove” marijuana as as evil as heroine and cocaine.

They are the dumbest and most ignorant of our nation and they write the laws.

@AnnetteTRemain More than likely, given the area most biblical stories take place in, the main characters had dark skin. But ignorance will fight tooth and nail to try to make their racism legit.
