My friend and I went to Ottawa Il to shop, have lunch, check out the downtown and see how high the Illinois River was after those storms went through the state. Chicago had gotten 6 inches of rain and most of their rivers feed the Illinois. Thought this sign was interesting.
Storm is moving on in. Hate not being home when these things hit, Ernie freaks out at the noise.
Tonight’s moon. It’s not as huge and bright in the photo I’m afraid but it rose in the perfect location for a photo.
I think that particular scenery is what I love most about this house. It frames well.
Stopped off at a store that sold fresh home grown tomatoes and sweet corn, took this as I was leaving.
4:30am - I’m almost certain this was fog from the river. We got rain yesterday and it’s been pretty muggy.
Ernie says have a happy Friday and he hopes everyone has the same beautiful weather we have here today.
My friend and I went for a drive out to see the covered bridge just outside of Princeton Illinois. The bridge was built in 1863.
Five years ago this little guy entered the world and my life got considerably better. Happy Birthday Ernie!

Today is a good day. I get to spend today with my dog and any day spent with your dog is a good day.
