Went old school and set up an RSS reader on my PC (Thunderbird) with feeds for a dozen news sites like The Guardian, AFP, even my local NBC affiliate TV station. Check those every morning. Set up another reader on my phone (Readrops) with a bunch of tech/gaming/science sites, such as IGN, Ars Technica, Engadget. I check that stuff while I'm on the stationary bike 3 times a week. Who needs to watch TV.
