The shitty part about it being 112°F outside is it's currently 89°F inside this fucking RV. And that's an excellent temperature delta for these things. Everything political sucks (especially SCOTUS) and the world is on fire (103°f today, 1st of at least 10 straight over 100° days in the forecast) so here's a couple pics of mah boy Beans enjoying a tummy rub. Well, I have done what I set out to do when I started with these Dual Senses. I have 4 Hall Effect controllers that will never drift again. Bonus, one of them also looks like a slick custom job tho I had to fudge an R1 button from an older model into a newer one until I can find a replacement. Long as you don't look at that it looks sweet. I'm calling it the Frieza for obvious reasons. Other one was pretty messed up when I got it. sooooo.. Just bought a pair of broken Dual Senses off eBay for $60. One Galactic Purple, one white. Purple one's shell is pretty scuffed. Curious if the board will fit into an OG white shell. Installed the PSU and ran the cables through the excellently placed ports in the case. Put the CPU in the socket and mounted the DeepCool heat sink, which took a half hour longer than it should have cause I lost a screw. Found a replacement after giving up finding it. Installed the ram and mounted the board to the case. Lugged it to the bedroom and did a Mobo post test. Success, yesss. Unplugged it and installed the GPU and SSD/HDD. Wired up all the components and fans, added 2 to the case top.

So this build took longer than I wanted cause right out the gate, I found my old PSU wasn't going to fit this Meshify 2 case. Was gonna go Best Buy, but partner hit FB MP and she found a kid selling an EVGA 650w modular PSU, never used for 75 and I like a deal. Had to wait till 430pm to get it tho. Things went faster after that. 1/3? #Tech #DIY

Here's how I spent my morning. Installed a TB SSD in my PS3. Now I'm working my way through the DL list. I hate this stupid list so much, I'll need glad to be done with it. Also, going through it reminds me how Sony definitely took more chances in the past. .detuned? Linger In Shadows? Got Greenlight working this morning. Wouldn't "see" my console even with "remote features" checked, figured out I needed to test remote play first. Connected no prob then. Tested it out but didn't actually play anything. Seems pretty good, tho I noticed some sound stuttering and some frame skipping. Hopefully something I can smooth out in settings. Pic of my first test of Chiaki, a PS4/PS5 remote play client, Steam Deck version. Installed the sandboxed client from git, then tested. Did the process to set up a wake up script and add the client to Steam. So now, in Gaming mode, it wakes up my 5 and runs in fullscreen. Loaded H:FW and ran around for a min, testing controls and such. Runs so smooth I feel like I stole a Project Q prototype. 1080p looks pretty good on a small screen. #Gaming #CoSoGaming #SteamDeck #PS5 #Chiaki #RemotePlay
