Bellingcat’s Technical Fellow George Dyer has made investigating companies publicly listed in the US easier by creating a toolkit that helps you navigate and collect data from a free-to-access company regulatory database.
Via spreadsheet, RSS, or python.

!
@th3j35t3r seen this play out and it never ends well for the dog
@weeblejj either way if you want to have good relations with your sister in the future, time to have solid conversations about what each of you values and how you each want this to play out.
@MLClark I was gonna say can't you work in a library, but yeah, same problems.
@BosmangBeratna
When MBAs run amok. They are either so ignorant or cavalier about their customers to roll that out; impressive either way.
So let's say my friend, errr, aquantaince, in the USA wants to buy something (somewhat large and heavy) in the UK. The vendor doesn't sell or ship to the USA For some reason the transaction needs to be legal.
The uh, private jet is in the shop. Are there alternative shippers that do this kinda thing?
@Jorro "Liberty", huh

@LiberalLibrarian We think 3rd Wave coffee is fancy, they're all cloned-replicated-hybrid-quantum been-through-a-tachyon-wave
@corlin Can confirm. I see one impedance factor for now is the high cost of setting up machine learning systems to work on the 20% (Pareto) of cases they _might_ be useful. Usual analysis works fine on 80+% of issues. Sensor anomalies/motor health blips/weird stuff are rare; machine learning approaches need data so are weak on rare problems.
Someone'll do it anyway and chip away on the cost and accumulate more data.
@phase2 true facts about Kruangbin:
The drummer is a robot*
Laura Lee wears a different outfit in every concert
I was just listening to them playing with Vieux Farka Touré, go listen! Thumbs up.
They have poignant music videos.
* No. Just very very dialed in.
@DJNoneYa aka apology sentences.
@MidnightRider @Madken65
If I recall these were people close to collecting pensions. It was also the beginning of the end of pensions. I suspect (without real evidence), that if someone looked we'd discover around the same time corporations moved HR out from under the CEO over to the CFO. I.e. people went from being _strategic_ to _financial_ assets. In gross and terrible corp-speak terms.
