@ATXJane I can try to describe them I guess.
They are richer than most sugar cookies, and I don't use shortening or (gods forbid) margarine; it's all real butter. The vanilla isn't overwhelming, as it's there to enhance the butter rather than take center stage.
I don't know if you have ever had Spritz cookies made without almond extract, but it's similar.

I've been told my cookies are granny-level; at least the baked part. Decorative skills need work.
But some grannies swear by Crisco in their cookies and I just... No. No no no. Greasy film on the upper plate, brings no flavor or soul. Might as well serve rice cakes.
