I think this weekend I might go in and box up the rest of the records so it’s done and it’ll only take me 4-5 hours at most. At least then my last 1-2 weeks will be a little brighter.

I may have set a record for month end billing today. Last I heard I was at 95% of budget. Hoping to surpass 100%. Coworker asked what I get if I hit 100%

Nothing other than satisfaction of hitting a set goal and to give them a benchmark to strive for.

Finally got my onboarding documents. Reading through the employee handbook.

The neighbor next to us said he will be moving out soon so we’re going to see if maybe we can move to that apartment. It’s on the corner with a better view down the street for people watching plus a little more space.

Meals like tonight make me glad we already ordered another 1/4 beef. I have a few lbs of spare ribs we need to use in the meantime.

Grilled some amazing juicy Lucy burgers made with black truffle goats cheese. So. Good.

Oh cool, none of the printers at work are showing on the network. Awesome.

This is the last time I have to use PTO for a holiday. All of my holidays will be paid at the new job.

I think some people don’t vote because they’re uncomfortable with the idea of their choice not winning so like a spoiled child they refuse to participate. “If I can’t win then I don’t wanna play.”

Sigh. Trying again to book our flights. Argh.

Sounds like ND Governor Doug Burgum is planning to throw his hat into the presidential ring for Republican Party. He sips the kool-aid.

If the wind cooperates today and/or tomorrow I plan to grill juicy Lucy burgers stuffed with black truffle goat cheese. 🤞🏼

So is the housing market ever going to stop being stupid? In 2024? In 3 years? 5 years?
Eventually renting an apartment will be as expensive as owning a home.

I was hoping I’d get my onboarding packet for the new job by now so I could start looking it over this weekend.

Isn’t Target a Minnesota company? You’d think they wouldn’t bend to such idiocy.

When an acquaintance who retired from corporate inquired about my job change and said “that’s a fantastic move! You’ll do great!” 🥰

Constantly having to tell coworkers: I am not IT. I cannot fix your computer, network or printer problem. Call the IT guy or the help desk. I cannot put my day to a halt to help you. You have the number.

Trying again to book our flights with the flight credit for our Vegas trip now that I know we’ll be able to go even with my new job.

A quick stop at Caribou for a latte because why not.
