My sister booked one of those “wine & paint” companies for a late Mother’s Day gift to our mom and we’re all participating. We’re painting “moon loon”. Spouse unfortunately has to work.

Irony is the local nonprofit reaching out asking me to join them and me telling them I already accepted a position elsewhere. They’re bummed but they couldn’t get organized. Referred them to someone else I know looking for a job in the field.

Had to text one of my previous bosses to let her know that I gave her cell phone # to the background check people because I’m getting a new job. She had better answer.

The wireless and the cell service in the new building is absolutely horrible. The wireless sucks. I have never seen my phone go into SOS mode before and all I was doing was standing in the middle of our department.

After a few days in the 80s a dreary day of temps in 60s feels lovely.

Some of our garlic was starting to sprout so I stuck a few cloves in one of our extra flower pots with some soil. They’re sprouting nicely. Looking forward to eating the garlic scapes in a few days.
