My TV is dying. It haaaatee bass. Soon it’ll perish so we’ve been eyeing sales and maybe replacing it. Until then we’ll deal with the buzzing with deep notes.

Saw so many good dogs at the walk today.

Family meeting to talk about transitioning to assisted living or some sort of supportive care for mom & dad scheduled for Saturday before we all go out to dinner together. If we meet after dinner we know mom & dad don’t pay attention and having dinner after the meeting will give them time for the message to sink in and for them to ask questions. Plus seeing the grandkids will help drive the message home to take better care of themselves.

Brother2 & his wife are in CO at a wedding. Sister2 is watching their 2 boys (4 and 2) while they’re away so we’re all getting snapchats of them playing at the park and the children’s activity place. Really glad Bro2 and SIL are getting a chance to take time away & not have to worry about the kids.

@insomniacviolin I’m sorry about your situation, that seems quite unfair. A lot depends on situation. I lived with my sister for 8 months post-divorce when I had very little money due to ‘starting over’. I paid $400/mo rent to her and she let me pay her later when I got caught up. Some people have compassionate hearts, others do not.

@insomniacviolin “rent” in the form of chores, helping with groceries/utilities, helping with yard work or other home upkeep.

Another angle of the demo

A lovey cool overcast day. Been watching videos of the controlled building demo they did of the Fargo Lashkowitz highrise at 7am this morning near downtown. It was old, poorly maintained, and an eyesore.

Want a dog but don’t want the possible vet bills and inability to leave the house for hours on end (>10 hrs) without arrangements.

Now thinking about getting a meat grinder attachment for the kitchen aid. Recommendations?
