@XSGeek we’re working on finding resources for them - local rides, senior services, etc.
they’ll enjoy assisted living once they realize they’ll have a lot of social outlets (and then dad won’t necessarily have to drive all over to gossip)

We’re planning a “come to Jesus” meeting with our parents next weekend to talk about them transitioning to assisted living or something with a lot of support. Mom can’t and shouldn’t take care of dad on her own; she tired and could use some help, too. Plus they’re both still driving 😱 but should not

Aww and my old desk is a “hotel” workstation now and no one else is using it so I get to sit at my old desk 🥰

Going to go in to the office to work today for a change of scenery and see some coworkers I haven’t seen in person for a while.
Stopping at Starbucks first because I have a gift card to use.

I didn’t go grocery shopping yesterday because I want spouse’s help carrying everything in today so we’re still out of bread & eggs. I made breakfast out of the last 8” tortilla, blue cheese crumbles, lunch meat & tangy refrigerator pickles. Quite tasty. Commence coffee.

Recent #Kdrama watching on Viki: “Extraordinary You” from 2019 because it was the most watched or something. 30+ episodes? Okay….

But, hear me out, I’m on episode 15 and I literally do not know what to expect next!

Dangit. I have to go grocery shopping after work. We have no bread, no eggs, low on sandwich cheese & meat, no lettuce/greens, no fresh veggies. Ugh.

I let coworkers know I have some free time this week if they need help on anything but it’s up to my boss to assign them to me. Otherwise I’m stuck waiting for a bunch of things to go through QA. Working on patience & getting used to waiting.

In the meantime going to try to get through another LinkedIn Excel course.
