My mom’s mom, the last of my grandparents, passed away today 😢
She would’ve turned 97 this up coming Sunday.
Grandma had not been feeling well lately and fell at home yesterday. Admitted to hospital, diagnosed with pneumonia then passed peacefully in her sleep this afternoon.
Grandma had recently commented to my sister that she was pissed off about still being alive because she couldn’t hear or see well and she flat out refused to go to a nursing home or assisted living so we figure she died out of spite at the doctor recommending it.

Grandma was a badass. Raise 10 kids and run the family business all by yourself and you’d be the same.
