Also, you (we, individuals) are the curators of our experiences here. You donโt have to put up with negativity, abuse or anything you donโt like. Filtering of content, muting and blocking objectionable people, and even reporting content that violates the rules of the space. No one has to put up with it here.
Filter. Mute. Block. Report. #UseTheTools
Here in Columbus (Ohio) our busses even put โBE KIND.โ on their digital signs.
One thing Iโd like AI to do is watch what you type, as you type it, and be smart enough to force you to pause before you post. Like โhey, so, it sounds like youโre really upset. Are you sure you want to send this?โ
Nice thing about that is, if the person does post it, the moderator could be alerted instantaneously that potentially objectionable content has been posted.
@amarand @Minholkin
to both of you.
It makes me so sad and frustrated to see long time friends I've made here need to step away because of some people being unwilling to have human conversations. I'd say the vast majority of us are here because we want to get away from that kind of rage baiting.
So while I respect everyone that feels the need to step away, I suggest we as a community block the people engaging in such behavior. Let them scream into the void.
I have a lengthy block list. ๐น
@voltronic I'm not seeing this because I have already blocked or muted those who partake in this kind of anti-community behavior. @amarand @Minholkin
@kel same, my friends feed rarely has anything like that.
Similar, but for filters reasons. I do "soft block" (mute, but leave notifications on in case they reply to me) a few folks who don't tend to use keywords I can filter out.
@amarand
Yes. We are richly appointed with those resources here ๐
