What do we gain by blowing each other up, here?

How does that make life better? For you? For people suffering atrocities around the world? At home?

This could be a place to learnโ€”to share resources and talk and consider.

We have SO much to learn. Events are unfolding and most folks know only an inkling of history and context yet swing opinions like a weighted bat.

Please pause. Please take a breath. Look at the sky.

Hurting each other here helps no one.

Also, you (we, individuals) are the curators of our experiences here. You donโ€™t have to put up with negativity, abuse or anything you donโ€™t like. Filtering of content, muting and blocking objectionable people, and even reporting content that violates the rules of the space. No one has to put up with it here.

Filter. Mute. Block. Report.

It makes me so sad and frustrated to see long time friends I've made here need to step away because of some people being unwilling to have human conversations. I'd say the vast majority of us are here because we want to get away from that kind of rage baiting.

So while I respect everyone that feels the need to step away, I suggest we as a community block the people engaging in such behavior. Let them scream into the void.
