Trump picks Rep. Elise Stefanik as ambassador to the United Nations.
That's a big ole FU to the world!

@sazemisery it was taken down about a week before the election. Was in place for less than 24 hours.

@sazemisery I'm still angry that the city removed this statue so quickly. I wonder what has happened to it since removal.

In my continuing efforts to to help those who will be harmed by the incoming administration, I’ve started a monthly donation to the American Immigration Council. They’ve got a 97 rating on Charity Navigator and are doing important work to protect immigrants’ rights and educate the public about the importance of immigrants to our economy and our national identity. Last month, they issued this eye-opening report on the implications of mass deportation.

@DavidSalo with absolutely no return. No grace will be dealt to them. Soul selling moments abound.

After 2.5 months it's finally raining in my town in the Philly suburbs. Let it Rain!

Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. The more things change the more they stay the same.
This memory popped up this morning.

@Armchaircouch when the real person that was Philomena Lee testified before Congress about the Mother Baby Homes in Ireland, Mari Steed held her hand and also testified. She has inspired and helped close gaps for hundreds of mothers and their babies. They continue her life's work.

@Armchaircouch it is truly the world's loss. She was a gem. I got to hug each of her children yesterday including the baby that she herself was forced to give up. I'll miss her. She was a fierce warrior.

Attended a memorial tribute for my high school classmate, Mari Steed, yesterday. Mari's footprint on this planet was enormous. There are real heroes on this planet. Mari was one of them. She came to America in the early 60s carrying the doll in this picture. She went out wearing the hat with honor. Part of her story is linked.
Gártha my dear friend.

@catlynne333 @TheresaVermont we also heard fireworks at 3AM in a very dry, leaf covered, drought-inflicted area of Bucks County in Pennsylvania. Those nuts could have burnt down whole neighborhoods. Clowns.

@Jorro there's some goodness in this world as John Gorka sang a few years ago.

@th3j35t3r So Daddy Trump has no allegiance to anyone. Eventually both Musk and Vance will be betrayed - DonOld always betrays anyone near him, just a matter of time. I'll enjoy that.

@AkomoCombine wow those charts are really disturbing. Stupid.

One rightfully angry hero. No one could feel his despair like he does.
