One of the few time you can rely on the Daily Heil is when their graphics department inadvertently pop out a cracker like this

Did you know Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart were in a band together before Eurythmics? It was called The Tourists and it was much more guitar-driven and punky than Eurythmics.

Check out Annie looking like a mashup of Pat Benetar and David Bowie.

I decided to put my essay on race up on @Medium.

It's been updated and edited with links!

I talk about why considering racial trauma when discussing if someone should just "move on" from racism is important.

Trust N York's to buck the trend <sigh>

Amusing seeing Tories trying to spin this as "not too bad really"

So if you ignore the Tory bloativating re the result not being that bad and look at things in some previous Tory strongholds it gets really interesting..

In 2017 all 4 seats in the 4 Mendip Divison on Somerset CC were Tory. By 2022 this has been expanded to 2 seats for each division, so 8 in total... Of those 8 6 are now Lib Dem and Tories have only retained 1division (Mendip Central & East)

ReesMogg lives in Mendip..

If you hear anyone whining about Biden causing inflation, please ask them when he became Prime Minister of the UK?

I think my favourite sort of is just to randomly experiment rather than produce a garment by following a pattern... This means I end up with loads of rectangles of knitting which inevitably get sewn together to make a blanket... Sort of doodling...

However, I suspect we may be reaching peak blanket round at our house...

Here's the latest experiment using mostly handspun wool

What's your favourite part/type of knitting?

If you are in London I totally recommend this place - best food I've had outside .. and if you go to www.dishpatch.co.uk you can get it delivered to cook at home... Yum
