That’s better, though, than many experts had expected — last year, federal actuaries said the programs could go belly-up sooner. Instead, the low unemployment rate means more workers are contributing to the programs, shoring up their finances even while record numbers of retirees enroll for benefits."

A decade ago, the Cape couldn't do a launch in less than every three days. The Obama administration got the funding to upgrade the Cape from 1960s-era technology so this would be possible.

The CFT will be the first crewed flight from Cape Canaveral since Apollo 7 in October 1968. After that, U.S. crewed spaceflight moved up the coast to #KSC on Merritt Island.
