Wow, for that kind of money, they could've both been on the Supreme Court...

@MMH @WordsmithFL Nah, that would barely cover one of Clarence Thomas' luxury vacations on Harlan Crow's yacht.

@MMH @WordsmithFL Kavanaugh's debts were paid by his wealthy parents. Alito has the luxury Alaska fishing trip, and Scalia was notorious for caging invitations for expensive vacations. The rest seem fairly clean, although there's always the possibility that Leonard Leo, or the like, is supplying justices with sugar daddies we don't know about.

Hm. It's been pretty widely reported (by reputable media) that no one was able to find out who paid his mortgage. Can you cite? I appreciate it...

@Coctaanatis @WordsmithFL
Thank you!

Though, From this story:
"Just because [Kavanaugh] hasn’t publicly disclosed—and isn’t required to produce—tax returns or other documentation revealing all the secrets of his wealth doesn’t mean that Kavanaugh has taken bribes."

Uh-hunh. Well, that's good enough for me...
