Question for the ladies. What natural or organic material/food/item has offered the biggest beauty effect for you?

Just a little that I do because I try a good bit but use paper towels to dry your face instead of wash cloth or towel. Cloth or towel can hold onto bacteria even if clean. I constantly try to make my own skin care products from food like eggs, avacado, aloe, chia, tumeric, soy, lemon, vitamin e, vitamin c, and tons more

@WhiteRose this is going to sound like a really odd suggestion, but I do have a cleaning habit that helped clear up my skin and make it a little bit easier for me to control the oil on my face. Taking a warm shower using a really soft cloth to wash, not scrub but rub gently, with a sensitive skin body soap, and afterwards rinsing with cold water. This is actually reduced the size of my pores along the bridge of my nose and cleared up breakouts that I've had since it was like in my 20s.

@WhiteRose afterwards I always use a sensitive skin lotion to moisturize my skin after I dry off. I let myself air dry rather than pat dry because I find that the fibers in towels and wash clothes have a tendency of leaving behind a fuzz on my skin.

@WhiteRose other than that eating habit wise, the only thing I've changed is that I'm eating a lot more vegetables and fruits than I did when I was much younger. I find that berries actually give my skin an almost youthful glow.

@PaganMother doesn't sound silly. It actually makes sense. The warmness open the pores to be cleaned out and then you close them after with the cold water.

@WhiteRose
I like Yves Rocher for botanical cosmetics and the facial cleansing bar is *amazing*
