Was too hungry to stop for a photo, but this Lebanese red lentil soup is Da Bomb. I finish the veloute with ¼ cup lemon juice blended smooth with ½ cup plain Greek yogurt and 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro.

End of holiday cupcake surplus? I have invented Cupcake Custard! Think bread pudding, but with a portion of the fancy frosting whisked into the egg and cream blend. Bake covered at 350° F for 25 minutes and then vented for another 8 minutes.

SMEXTING needs to be a thing. I used apple ice wine to pach my pears and am in olfactory alt.

My favorite Penzey's Greek seasoning has salt, oregano, garlic, lemon peel, black pepper, and marjoram.

Add a Tbsp of crumbled feta and your salt-free blend to Greek inspired lamb burgers, vinaigrette, pasta salad...

Calling all Sourdough peeps! And the merely Sourdough Starter curious. on Sunday, May 29, 11 am Eastern U S time. We're talking starter: making, sharing, feeding, ignoring, but we won't go into baking with it on this call.

3 quick fuss-free sourdough tips:

1. 15-minute skillet foccacia. Delish, fast, easy. No special prep, just dough from fridge in a skillet with dab of oil and maybe sesame seeds or something interesting sprinkled on one side. Cook on med-low heat, preheated pan, flip at 6 minutes.
2. Wetter is better. Just handle your dough with wet hands.
3. Keep dough ready in the fridge for up to a week in a covered glass bowl or ziplock bag.
