Calling all Sourdough peeps! And the merely Sourdough Starter curious. on Sunday, May 29, 11 am Eastern U S time. We're talking starter: making, sharing, feeding, ignoring, but we won't go into baking with it on this call.

I will post the info/link/whatever it's called a few minutes before 11 am so we can all decide if we want to show our faces (and starters).

There can be. But the starter is fermented, so the flour(s) used in baking with it are going to be more important than what is used to "catch" and ferment the wild yeast.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert, just an enthusiastic home cook with happy family and friends when I bake.
