Just made a conscious dietary change in response to climate change. A first for our household, as far as I know. We will be using peanut oil for cooking, where possible, and save the olive oil for flavor impact (salads, maybe pizza dough).
Went offline to be an early voting election judge...
Reason: scarcity / sky high prices because of 2 consecutive years of drought and extremely high temps in Spain where 40% of the global supply of olive oil originates.
@Vanitas I am very interested in your reason for this. I could Google it, but we're both here. 🙂
