If you haven't ever tried it, I do recommend giving it a go. It's herby, spicy (black pepper and mace/nutmeg) and absolutley delicious. Seriously.

I watched a documentary where a doctor was looking at the awesome science of blood.
In order to ethically recreate some experiments, he "donated" a couple of pints of his own blood.
There was some left over, so he mixed it up with the usual ingredients for black pudding, cooked it and ate it. On camera.

As an exchange student in Germany, I saw blood pudding. Saw. Not ate. I was told it was clotted animal blood, which made my formerly 16 year old self avoid it like the plague.
