@WhoopassGirl Indeed. We're a social species though, we're not meant to be alone. But lots of people make it really difficult. I'm soft at heart and I feel like that triggers some predatory instinct to take advantage of whoever it is. People are often so insecure and desperate, lots of the time we only see in people what we can derive from them. Not always in a malicious way per se, but it's a weird precipice.

You gotta do what's best for you. Walls serve a purpose and sometimes we need them.

@WhoopassGirl It's easy to detach from when it gets overwhelming, that's for sure. Can't do that as easily in real life. You can always just burn it all down and start over fresh whenever you want. There's security in that, especially if you've grown up with a sense of apprehension towards building relationships with people because of childhood traumas.

I've never really hid behind any veil of anonymity, just presenting myself as I am. I've made some invaluable relationships all over the world from it. I live in the middle of nowhere right now and being introverted is a wild thing. Twitter and CoSo are my only outlets.

@WhoopassGirl @netspionage I wish I didn't derive a sense of validation from getting likes, but that's what makes CoSo better than say, Twitter. Doesn't show # of likes or anything. Not a lot of room for narcissism.

@WhoopassGirl Instagram has its uses for sure, but I can't bring myself to subscribe to it. Would be nice if CoSo added photo albums for users to upload pics to.

@CherNohio I remember when I was young my friends and I used to bike around a lot. I'd say "hey lets go get lost" and we'd go riding to places we've never been, hoping to lose our way.

It was sad when we learned our way around. It's not about the destination, it's the journey.

@Beanc Admittedly, I didn't pay for it when it first came out, and didn't for some time. It shouldn't have been released when it was but at least they fixed a lot of things about it.

Not a fan of the practice of releasing broken games and fixing them as you go. I miss not every game being a live service. Used to just buy games as they are and that's it.
