@killagator It's simple, really: Politicians have by-and-large anointed themselves (and by extension, the lobbyists' that own them) the de facto nobility of the United States, with very few exceptions. Their mission is to preserve the status quo and distract the masses, while their corporate overlords loot the pockets of their "constituents" and rape the dwindling resources of the planet... all without concern for the long-term consequences.

@th3j35t3r Turns out the burglary claim was made after the fact... police were dispatched in response to a call about an aggressive animal that was charging people. Property has prior citations for animal restraint issues and was cited again this time, plus for the dogs not having their shots. Does it excuse what happened? Not in the least, but the context that both dogs had charged the officer in past few minutes is could relate to state of mind.
@JGNWYRK Feel you. Part I need for an ongoing project got the the UPS facility and was origin scanned on Sunday.... and still hasn't gotten here (shipped by 2nd Day Air). At least it's finally in the same state... though I'm not sure I believe it'll make it by 9pm tonight, considering it isn't even out for delivery yet.

I can understand that. I've heard similar comments from friends & family, and I'll share my response to them with you: If you don't have the patience to ensure your own security, who do you think is going to help when an incident inevitably occurs? I'd suggest checking the FAQs of some of the more well-known apps, or using a standalone package that you have complete control over, like KeePassXC (https://keepassxc.org/). Best of luck!
@Kitty62862 I'm too old and cranky to deal with all that. I use a password manager - while I prefer Dashlane, there's other good ones out there too. Another popular one that folks I trust have mentioned is KeePass. Hope that helps!
