Getting offended is a privilege. If you can witness bigoted, dehumanizing behavior and simply decide whether or not to be personally upset by it, congratulations! We protest such behavior not because "someone got offended" but because, to the people it targets, it does actual, documentable *harm*.
I wasn't born in that country, but I emigrated there when he casually called one of the people working on the rescue of the Thai soccer team a pedophile (not because there's any evidence it's true, but solely because he got his feelings hurt). His appalling actions since taking over Twitter have turned me into a proud naturalized citizen of FuckElonistan.

@Nerdsleaze Yeah, a dollar a minute scales up pretty quickly if you have 2 million followers, and she doesn't have to have any direct involvement with any of them if she doesn't want to.
She created an AI simulacrum of herself, charges people a dollar a minute to chat with it, and makes $100,000 a week off her fanbase, which is 98% men. Not singling her out for criticism, admire the entrepreneurial spirit and all, but holy shit human civilization sure seems doomed.

There are three kinds of people in today's R party.
There are those who are all in for TFG and think he can do no wrong. They will vote for him no matter what are are unlikely to vote for anyone but him; if he's not available, they would either not vote or would scatter and become insignificant.
There are those who don't care much about TFG as a person, but think he's got some kind of winning magic that they don't understand.
