In Jamie Raskin's book, Unthinkable, he was gathering information to push for punishishing frump for violating the Emoluments clause repeatedly, but everyone, including Democrats, told him to let it go. I always wondered why frump got away with it. I was pissed when I read Dems were against calling him out for it.
@JoyfullyDazed I always felt as though they were letting the smaller stuff go in order to go for the worst of it all. Rather than to get him on guard over something small, just wait and let him hang himself repeatedly while they built the case for the bigger offenses.
Possibly. Although, I think the ways and number of time he violated the Emoluments clause was pretty bad. He literally stole money from taxpayers. Feels kinda big to me.

@Darkenyght1701 I literally think every day since frump about how insanely lucky we are that he didn't get us all completely nuked, taken over by another country, sold us to the highest bidder, etc. I blame him for the covid deaths we have and the fact that it's now mutated and we're still dealing with it. This was something that had to be hit immediately with extreme measures before it could mutate and learn, he cost us precious time and lives, and still is.
