In Jamie Raskin's book, Unthinkable, he was gathering information to push for punishishing frump for violating the Emoluments clause repeatedly, but everyone, including Democrats, told him to let it go. I always wondered why frump got away with it. I was pissed when I read Dems were against calling him out for it.

@JoyfullyDazed I always felt as though they were letting the smaller stuff go in order to go for the worst of it all. Rather than to get him on guard over something small, just wait and let him hang himself repeatedly while they built the case for the bigger offenses.

@StephanieResists

Possibly. Although, I think the ways and number of time he violated the Emoluments clause was pretty bad. He literally stole money from taxpayers. Feels kinda big to me.

@JoyfullyDazed Well I don't feel as if all that will be let go altogether maybe, I think that maybe once they have him nailed down with the major case, they'll throw on the other smaller bs as cake icing. lol
