@Museek I’ve totally been there, had to get towed back to my tire service place because they stripped the lug nut and used a different one that didn’t fit my lug wrench. Fortunately it was a good place and they didn’t charge me since it was their error.

If you can get a lug wrench to fit it, try getting a longer hollow metal pipe or something sturdy that you can put over the handle and increase the leverage on turning it

Good morning CoSo.

Happy cheap-chocolates eve.

I thoroughly enjoyed Chelsea Handler’s hosting of The Daily Show this week

@Sheree Best of luck to you, will be sending you good vibes 💖

@Sheree Have never heard this term, but I started instinctively practicing it a few years ago, tuned out almost all tv/video news/commentary to save my sanity. NPR and digital/print news orgs like Washington Post let me stay informed but without all the stress of those other sources

Y’all, I got a promotion!!! I get to keep my fave parts of my current role and lead the team, developing them to replicate the way I work with my clients (focusing on a win-win-win approach to securing their applications).

It’s really cool to have leadership who listen to you and point you in the direction of the work you want to do and are good at. 😁

I’m so excited, and even better… the universal reaction to the news is joyful. So glad I get to work with so many badass and caring folks.

Compliments are an important adult version of positive parenting, mine focuses on praising behavior I want to see more of while using negative consequences sometimes when needed (ie no screen time).

Compliments in someone’s skills, attitude, approach are always warranted. Compliments on someone’s physical attributes should be used sparingly and only in that “no expectations “ way.

Society has trained us to complain, but we should call out good work and behavior regularly 😊

Sending hugs and love to everyone, hope you have a lovely week ahead of you. May any stress/ troubles lessen and your strengths shine brightly. 💖💖💖

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist. - Louis Nizer, lawyer (6 Feb 1902-1994)
