So my kiddo is 12 today and he has decided he doesn’t want anyone to mention his birthday; although we did have some ice cream cake yesterday. We’re being respectful of his wishes but the holiday spirit in me is bummed. At least I have the work day to get my head in a better place so I can be cheerful this evening.

I’ve had a delightful, mostly non-productive day so far. Pet and family snuggles, reading and phone games abound. Definitely in #HappyMama mode.

Now to finish it off with an instant pot roast beef that’ll be done in about an hour once I start prepping 😀

My sensory kiddo taught me a valuable lesson several years I’m using this am: Socks can be worn inside out, and they are often more comfortable that way. No rough seams for me, thank you very much 😂🤣

@redenigma They don’t realize how hard it hits lower income folks. The only way I’d support that kind of tax approach is if all stock market trading and services are included + lower income folks get a card or something that enables them to not pay taxes up to a certain income and then up to another income level, they pay sales tax only on anything that isn’t necessities (groceries, fuel, utilities, etc).
