I thinks it should be possible for a particular political party to institute ranked choice for their own primaries - they are private organizations, after all, and they have the right to choose their candidates the way they wish. When they start choosing better candidates and winning in the general election, the others will come along.

@SandHillThicket My fave way of making mashed potatoes these days is using my ricer. It takes a bit of effort, but once riced, I add in a little butter, a splash or two of heated milk, salt/pepper to taste and give it a few stirs and it’s ready and so silky smooth
