Many folk spend this day of Thanks, being in service to others. Setting a place at your table for a stranger, working to help feed the homeless, or good old-fashioned Church celebrations.

Me, I am driving into town, and picking up a few old friends, veterans all. Folk that choose to live alone, or have no nearby relatives. We will feast. Tell tall tails. Perhaps drink too much. Maybe plink away at a few targets.

What we won't be is alone.
