Continuing this stream of mammals of the Mountainous West, here are some Bighorn Sheep. So named because of their, well...
I am convinced that, like deer, the only purpose they seem to serve is to be mountain lion and soon-to-be newly, reintroduced wolf food. They're nasty effers who will knock you off a hiking trail, piss on your stuff and then stand in the road completely ignoring any attempts to shoo them away.
Plus, for sheep living at the frostline their coat game is not on point.

This is an American pika. They're found at high altitudes, and as their biomes heat up, are being found at even higher altitudes as they seek to escape the heat.
While some have adapted to hotter areas around volcanos, they can die if exposed to heat higher than 78F for longer than 6 hours. You'll often catch them darting between rocks and crevices during the day.
