@th3j35t3r thanks for the update. Sorry you’re in tech hell. It happens. You’ll gonna get it handled. Have faith in you.
"A plea to our common humanity..."

Just want to say, I don't think there's a correct, linear way to adapt to and cope with what's going on in the world.
You may find that you move between feeling almost normal and feeling very NOT normal.
You may wonder how there can be such suffering in the world and you feel OK for a little bit. And then devastated.
This movement can feel disorienting. There's no template for dealing. Be patient with yourself and others. Give extra grace whenever possible.
Take care of you.
My generation was so gaslighted about racism. It was everywhere. Everyone you trusted as a child was racist. Teachers, police, parents….now as adults we fight those voices that echo around in our heads. The worst for me is teachers saying it was okay to drop a nuke because “a those people don’t value human life the way WE do”. That’s the one that I hate remembering the most. If there was a delete key in my brain I would delete all the times I heard that.
@Render I’ve read about the Azov militia. It’s very disturbing. But it’s internet stuff. Sometimes it’s believable sometimes not. Since I haven’t seen anything about them over the last week I was thinking maybe I was deceived and the articles were fake. Guess they weren’t.
This is so discouraging. How can people still be so racist.

@Kinnison
IMHO
A strategic war of finances and support isn’t the same as a shooting war.
No-fly zones have to be enforced. It was tried with Syria with little change in the outcome for that country. Plus it requires having fueling stations in adjacent countries or sea. Which in this instance will be seen as a direct provocation. Putin knows this and has outplayed the west so far. But his resources aren’t infinite. He may find it more expensive in both manpower and cash to keep this up.
@LadyZurk beautiful!
If you were wondering about whether the Russians really influence our social media, compare the list of top Facebook posts from a few weeks ago to this week, when Russia couldn't access its foreign cash reserves. Rather telling.
On the left, Feb 12th, long before the war began and Russia killed FB & Twit,.... on the right, yesterday, with all the Russian bots and gremlins gone

Disarming Disinformation: Our Shared Responsibility
Contrary to the Kremlin’s false claims, the people of Ukraine are demonstrating great strength, determination, and courage in response to Putin’s ruthless, unprovoked, and premeditated war. We have seen Ukraine’s soldiers demonstrate commitment and bravery shooting down Russia’s aircraft, firing at tanks, and holding many of their positions while under heavy attack.
Ukraine is using a new”game changing” drone called The Punisher against Russia to great effect:
They really should be. I agree.
