@Shelleyaw123 The leader of The Base currently lives in St Petersburg, where he collects a paycheck from the Russian government. As I've mentioned before, Ukraine's Right Sector and Azov battalion were both funded by Russia and influenced by Putin advisor and speech writer Aleksandr Dugin prior to 2014.

@Render I’ve read about the Azov militia. It’s very disturbing. But it’s internet stuff. Sometimes it’s believable sometimes not. Since I haven’t seen anything about them over the last week I was thinking maybe I was deceived and the articles were fake. Guess they weren’t.

@Shelleyaw123 Make no mistake, the rank and file of Azov is bad, very bad.

But Z-man and the Ukr government co-opted them into the Ukr National Guard and then fired their leaders. Because Azov could fight at a time the Ukr army wasn't ready to fight.
