@FurloughedAgain here’s what I remember: half the country is NOT republican, only 30-37% depending on the election year, Roughly 60% is left leaning, and the rest are independent flip-flops. Of the 1/3 republican, a little over half are “Maga,” the rest are just closeted bigots or financial opportunists. So more than 2/3 of the country are on the right side of this, we’re just having to fight through the land mines left by the last third as we chase them out.

I think of it every time I am watching a movie on a tablet, fighting glare from open shades etc.
