Morning Joe & Mika traveled to Mar-A-Lago over the past weekend to bend a knee & kiss the ring. Sigh. See ya, MS-NBC. It also popped into my head that I haven't listened to a minute of NPR since Nov. 5th. CNN = dead to me. Unsubscribed from NYT & WaPo. I'm done with state run media.

@guinnessphil My late, wonderful stepmother was from Norman, OK. A truly amazing person. What exists today was not her OK back in the day. We have to reclaim America. It isn't gonna happen in my lifetime, but I hope to contribute to the process going forward.

I will say it again, and probably again as more appointments are announced. When you remember the goal is to destroy the government, all these appointments make perfect sense.
@iamwill1w9 I was stationed in Norfolk for a few years. Beautiful city, and the entire area (Williamsburg and Virginia Beach) is steeped in so much history. Steaming back into D&S Piers after a deployment was an awesome spectacle.
The fncknuckles (Musk and Ramaswamy) who are going on about slashing and burning the VA, who never served a minute, are going to have a hot fight on their hands.
After 10 days of reflection, I've decided that, as a veteran, this is my new mission. It's something I can compartmentalize, wrap my hands around, and truly make a difference. From A. Lincoln, at the establishment of the VA:
